Sales Development Representative

Axelsson Cloud Consulting Europe GmbH is a consultancy company creating value through digitalization by providing expert services and consultants in cloud native computing, data- and event driven architectures, microservices, Kubernetes, DevOps, Big Data, industrial IoT solutions and open-source technologies in Microsoft Azure cloud. For continued and further growth we are now looking for a dedicated Sales Development Representative focused on the DACH region.

In the role as Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for expanding business through identifying the needs and problems of the customers and presenting mutually beneficial and value-adding solutions to specific customer needs. Networking, processing and development of sales opportunities, setting up customer meetings and presentations, as well as visiting relevant fairs and expos across Europe will be part of your daily work. You will handle bids, agreements, legal terms and sales contract negotiations from initialization to the closed deal and ensure that monthly goals are met.

The following proficiencies, traits and abilities will be expected of the right candidate:

  • You are a perseverant and professional sales person at heart, preferably with a natural interest and curiosity for digital technologies.
  • You have at least a few years of commercial experience and relevant university and/or college education, e.g., economics, linguistics or another relevant field.
  • You have at least some experience of sales in the IT sector, e.g., most preferably consultancy, solution and/or SaaS sales. Experience in B2B lead generation tools, evaluation and marketing strategies are advantageous but not required.
  • You have a demonstrable ability in handling customer relationships, quotes, legal and business discussions, negotiation techniques and in ensuring that appropriate technical and commercial aspects are considered.
  • You identity sales opportunities and evaluates customer needs actively leveraging your network, social media, business intelligence and other tools at your disposal to find and develop new leads and sales.
  • You do not mind a certain amount of travelling in order to meet clients and explore new markets.
  • You thrive in a challenging environment where you will constantly break new ground.
  • You preferably have a basic understanding of digital marketing and can e.g., initiate and drive digital marketing campaigns to generate leads.
  • On a personal level, you are a self-motivated and a reliable team player with an independent and result oriented working style, as well as strong communicative skills and positive attitude.
  • Native or full professional proficiency in English and German is required for this position. Foundational Swedish proficiency, e.g. through Nordistik, is advantageous.

This is an official position with Berlin, Germany as the default contract working location. You will be able to shape your schedule yourself to a large extent.
